In this license:
“B’Tselem materials” – video or text updates, reports and any other material created by B’Tselem and available on the B’Tselem website and/or in official B’Tselem publications;
“Usage” – copying, broadcasting, publicly performing, and making available to the public.
Terms of license:
B’Tselem hereby grants the public license to use B’Tselem materials for non-commercial purposes and without receiving remuneration, on the condition that such use does not harm the integrity of the materials, distort their content or misrepresent them by taking them out of context. The usage license is subject to the user prominently and expressly noting the name of the B’Tselem publication from which the material was taken and/or that the material was taken from the B’Tselem website.
Where the B’Tselem website or a B’Tselem publication credits parties other than and/or additional to B’Tselem, this must be explicitly stated.
This license applies exclusively to fair usage, which constitutes the use of individual materials from B’Tselem’s entire body of work and does not apply to expansive use, which requires express written consent from B’Tselem. In cases of uncertainty whether use is expansive or not, users are required to contact B’Tselem.
This usage license does not constitute a license of any kind with respect to materials found on the B’Tselem website or in any of its publications that are not the exclusive property of B’Tselem. Where the need arises, all copyright owners, including B’Tselem, should be contacted. B’Tselem assumes no responsibility of any kind for any use made by any third party of the materials found on the B’Tselem website or in its publications.
