On Thursday, 27 November 2025, at around 8:00 P.M., a settler drove up to the Vienna Coffee stand, located near an intersection between the town of Silwad and the village of Deir Jarir. The business serves many drivers who regularly buy coffee and food there.

The coffee stand’s owner and one employee were there at the time, along with several customers.

The settler used his car to block the customers’ vehicles for about 10 minutes and then drove away.

Over the course of the next hour, an armed settler drove by on an ATV, followed by another who also had a dog with him.

At around 11:00 P.M., another armed settler arrived, parked his car near the coffee stand and got out.
The settler went up to the car of a customer who had just arrived, kicked it, and shattered the window with his rifle. The driver immediately drove off.

The settler then threatened the owner and the employee at gunpoint, shouted at them in Hebrew and hurled merchandise at them. The two got into the owner’s car and drove away, while the settler hit the car windows with his rifle.

The employee then left the area, while the coffee stand owner called for help on a social media group for young men from the village. Several of them arrived. When the settler saw the young men approaching, he fired live rounds at them and then left in the direction of the settlement of Ofra.

The stand owner went back and discovered that the settler had shattered the refrigerator glass, broken the glass juice containers, thrown most of the products and sweets on the floor and stolen cash from the till.
Fearing another attack, the owner had to relocate the stand and has not resumed operating it at the original location.
