On Sunday, 12 February 2023, at around midnight, nine settlers, some armed with clubs, arrived in the northern neighborhood of the village of Turmusaya and attacked five houses with stones. The settlers smashed a window in one of the houses and eight solar panels that power the neighborhood, which is not connected to the grid. The settlers also smashed the windshields of two parked cars and damaged their tires and the tires of a tractor. When one of the residents came out of his house after hearing noises, the settlers fled.

Two days later, on Tuesday afternoon, 14 February 2023, four settlers stood on a hill overlooking the neighborhood, provoked local residents and threatened to attack them. The northern neighborhood of Turmusaya suffers from repeated attacks by settlers. On 31 October 2022, settlers broke windows, solar panels, car windows and lights and slashed tires in the neighborhood. On 29 January 2023, settlers smashed the windows of a house in the neighborhood and sprayed hate graffiti.
