Diwan a-Rajabi (160)

Separates al-Haram al-Ibrahimi (Tomb of the Patriarchs) from the neighborhoods south of the compound. Staffed around the clock by soldiers. In September 2016, infrastructure at the checkpoint was expanded; turnstiles and  electronic screening room were added. Everyone who comes to the checkpoint undergoes a careful security check. Palestinians aged 16 to 30 who do not live in the area are not allowed to cross the checkpoint. Palestinians are not allowed through the checkpoint on Israeli holidays.

The Bakery / Tomb of the Patriarchs /al-Haram al-Ibrahimi - Southeast

Located near the police station. Staffed around the clock by Border Police. Random checks conducted. Since 2015, Border Police have been keeping Palestinians from the wide, paved portion of the road. In early 2017 the military extended the fence and installed a gate at its end. As of June 2018, the gate is open from 7 A.M. to 11 P.M. The gate is closed at night and it cannot be used to enter or exit the neighborhoods of Gheith, a-Salaimeh and Jaber.

Tomb of the Patriarchs - West (1)

Located northwest al-Haram al-Ibrahimi (Tomb of the Patriarchs). Two security check stations monitor the main entrance to the mosque. Staffed by Border Police and regular police. Everyone who comes to the checkpoint undergoes a security check. Open daily from early morning to 8 P.M. Closed on Israeli holidays. In 2016-2017, the military made renovations to the infrastructure at the checkpoint, adding an electronic screening room and cameras.

The Pharmacy

Staffed around the clock by Border Police. Located on a-Sahla Street, south of the Tomb of the Patriarchs (al-Haram al-Ibrahimi), close to the al-Ibrahimiya school and the Abu a-Rish mosque. Open only to pedestrians. In July 2016 the checkpoint was shut down for two months for renovations to expand its infrastructure: Bars were added on either side of the checkpoint. Turnstiles, an electronic screening room and an observation room were added as well. Everyone who comes to the checkpoint undergoes a security check. 

Giv'at Haavot / al-Muhwal

Located at the entrance to the settlement Giv'at Ha'avot. Staffed by the military - usually by a single soldier. The checkpoint has a gate that prevents Palestinian vehicles from crossing, with the exception of residents of the area who have special permits allowing them to cross in private cars. Other Palestinians may cross only on foot.

Tal Rumeidah (Gilbert)

Staffed by the military from early morning to 10:00 P.M. Closed to Palestinians, with the exception of neighborhood residents and permit holders. Random checks are conducted of passersby. Turning left after the checkpoint is permitted only to members of the Abu 'Eishah, Abu Haikal, al-'Aza, and al-Khatib families.
