Filming to protect our families. Int'l Women's Day 2014
Lubna Saleh is one of three brave women we interviewed for International Women’s Day 2014. These three Palestinian women document frequent settler attacks on their village, ‘Asira al-Qibliyah, with video cameras provided by B’Tselem. Last Sunday, we posted a video of Lubna’s daughter, Shuruk, learning how to film. When settlers attack Palestinian villages, women are usually the ones to stay home and protect the children. We have distributed more than 25 video cameras among residents of these villages and held filming workshops for more than 30 women among them.
