On 8 November 2025, at around 1:00 P.M., four masked settlers on two ATVs raided the eastern neighborhood of the village of Raba, which sits about 250 meters east of the town, and drove around between the three houses there. A short while later, more than 20 additional settlers arrived to the neighborhood from the direction of an outpost that was established in July 2025 less than two kilometers southeast of the village, in Area C, on Jabal a-Salmah.

The settlers attacked two houses with stones: one of which was still under construction, and the other of which was empty at the time because the owner left when he saw the settlers approaching; he witnessed the attack from a distance. They shattered the glass windows and doors of his home, climbed up to the roof, destroyed plastic water jugs, and broke the water heater’s solar panels. The attack lasted about half-an-hour until the village’s residents who came to help managed to drive the settlers back from the houses, in addition to soldiers from the Israeli DCO who pushed them back in the direction of their outpost.

That evening, representatives from the Palestinian DCO in Jenin – whose director is a resident of the village – paid a visit to the town together with Israeli military personnel and police and collected witness testimonies. The next day, one of the residents, Diyaa Qasrawi, 44, filed a complaint at the Palestinian police station in Jenin.

Diyaa Qasrawi, 44, a father of five, recounted in the testimony he gave to B’Tselem field researcher Abdulkarim Sadi on 9 November 2025:

On Saturday, 8 November 2025, at around 1:00 P.M., I left my house to go to a relative’s funeral who had passed away that morning. I walked a few steps and then saw four masked settlers on two ATVs. The settlers started driving around the homes of our neighborhood, which sits on the eastern edge of Raba, and which has just three houses – mine and two others which are far apart from each other.

Immediately after that, another 20 settlers – some of whom were masked – arrived from the peak of Jabal a-Salameh, and began attacking the neighborhood’s houses. I called relatives and other residents and asked them to come defend the houses. Dozens of village youth arrived and they tried to drive away the settlers. About half an hour passed until the village residents succeeded in pushing them away. Before that, I saw settlers throw stones at my windows, go up to my roof, destroy my plastic water containers, and break my water heater’s solar panels. They also tried, but failed, to remove the iron doors I have.

The settlers also attacked a house under construction and shattered the window and door panels. Additionally, they damaged a fence that surrounds the garden of a family who arrived in the area more than a decade ago and raises livestock there.

The director of the Palestinian DCO, who’s a resident of the village, also came and called Israeli DCO personnel, who arrived at the end of the incident and pushed the settlers back towards the direction of their outpost on Jabal a-Salmah, southeast of Raba.

At around 10:00 P.M., Israeli soldiers and police and representatives from the Palestinian DCO came to the village. They questioned people about the attack, and police collected witness testimonies before leaving the area.

Immediately afterwards I drove to Jenin and filed a complaint with the Palestinian police so that the incident would be documented.

In the wake of the settler attack on our home and out of fear that they’ll return and do it again, our whole family moved to my parents’ house in the center of the village for a few days.
