Al-Buweib, South Hebron Hills: Armed settlers forced olive harvesters off their land, threatened another family, and stole sacks of olives

On Saturday afternoon, 2 November 2024, while members of the ‘Othman family were harvesting their olive trees on their land, north of the village of al-Buweib, five settlers arrived in a car. The family members fled towards the village, and the settlers followed them in the car. On the way, the settlers stopped next to the home of the Da’ajnah family, and when they noticed olive sacks near the house, they asked the family members, while pointing guns at them, where the olives came from. The family replied that they harvested the olives from their land on 26 October 2024, and then one of the settlers loaded two of the bags onto the car, and the settlers drove away. The family called the police, but no officers arrived.
