On 2 November 2024, Muhammad Abu Baker and his family went to harvest olives on their land after the Israeli DCO approved six days of harvesting in the area starting on 29 October 2024. Around noon, two settlers and two soldiers, some of them masked, arrived in a pickup truck. The settlers scattered the olives that had been collected on the tarps and stole eight sacks of olives the family members had picked. The soldiers kicked the family off the land with threats.
The Abu Baker family tried to pick olives on their land on 29 October 2024, but they were kicked out by soldiers, at least one of whom they recognized as a settler. They were kicked off their lands in the days that followed as well.
