On Thursday, 7 November 2024, settlers were documented roaming farmland of the Mahamid family, which spans 10 hectares and has about 1,500 olive trees, northeast of the village. The family managed to enter their land only on Saturday, 9 November, after receiving permission from the DCO to harvest by 4:00 P.M. that day. Upon arrival, they discovered that settlers had cut down some trees and damaged others. Around 1:00 P.M., soldiers arrived, reminded the family to leave by 4:00 P.M. and left. About half an hour later, a settlement guard and another settler arrived and ordered the family to leave. Fearing they would be attacked, the family complied.
