Qusrah, Nablus District: Israeli settlers graze flock on farmer’s private land and soldiers pepper-spray him in the face; the next day, he discovers settlers broke 12 trees and destroyed a fence

On Sunday, 25 Feb. 2024, around 3:00 P.M., Thaer ‘Adel (58) from Qusrah went to his land southeast of the village and saw three settlers grazing about 15 sheep there. After ‘Adel asked them to leave his land, two soldiers arrived and ordered him to leave, claiming the land belonged to the settlers. When ‘Adel said he inherited the land from his father, the soldiers sprayed pepper spray in his face and he was forced to leave.

The following day, 26 Feb., ‘Adel returned to his plot and found that settlers had broken 12 olive trees in it, destroyed a 100-meter-long stone wall and vandalized a 6-meter-long barbed wire fence.
