On Sunday afternoon, 27 August 2023, a settler led about 250 heads of sheep into an olive grove belonging to the community of al-Qabun, whose residents were forcibly transferred from their homes by means of settler violence that month. The settler vandalized the gate to the grove and about five meters of a stone wall surrounding it.
The residents notified the DCO and soldiers who arrived removed the settler from the grove.
The following afternoon, the settler returned to the grove with his flock. Again, the residents notified the DCO and soldiers removed him.
On Tuesday morning, the owner of the grove arrived and discovered the sheep had eaten all the leaves off some 200 olive saplings.
