On Tuesday, 3 July 2023, at around 6:00 P.M., Palestinian farmers noticed about seven Israeli settlers who had set fire to bales of wheat on land belonging to two Palestinian farmers east of Beit Dajan. The settlers left immediately, and the residents got the fire under control before it caused serious damage. That same evening, at around 8:00 P.M., settlers returned to the site and again set fire to bales of wheat, this time succeeding in burning 110 bales.

The next day, at around 11:00 A.M., settlers returned to the same land, dragged some 40 bales of wheat under some olive trees and set them on fire. The settlers succeeded in burning 40 bales of wheat and damaging some 50 olive trees.
