Beit Hadassah, Hebron city center: Settler children attack Palestinian resident on street

On 2 April 2022, the first evening of Ramadan, at around 8:00 P.M., Zidan a-Sharabati (52), a father of five from the Old City of Hebron, noticed five settler teens throwing stones at Palestinian teens near the settlement of Beit Hadassah. A-Sharabati began filming the incident on his phone, at which point the settlers started swearing and throwing stones at him and threatening him with pepper spray. One of the stones hit a-Sharabati in the face. After a soldier arrived and drove the teens away, a-Sharabati went home. 

Israel’s regime of apartheid and occupation is inextricably bound up in human rights violations.
