"AN IMAGE IS WORTH A THOUSAND WORDS"
passage about why images are better than written texts

Established in 2005, the video department of the "image" to accompany the photographic evidence in cases where the Israeli courts, police and the army chose to underestimate the spoken testimony of plaintiffs or defendants Palestinians. Project began in 2007 "armed with cameras" (link) - Volunteers cameras supplied by B'Tselem different regions under occupation, in order to document their lives. In this way the video department has become an integral part of projects as a photographer, as well as in public relations, working with police and army. Using the camera can make a better world what is really going places that we do not want to see. Places that are behind our backs, out of sight, out of mind. This way more impossible to ignore the situation in the occupied territories. More impossible to overlook. Photography can change agendas, conduct, and cause - perhaps - a more quiet situation in the occupied territories, influencing public opinion to issue justice.
