In recent years — and especially since 7 October 2023 — there has been a sharp increase in both the number and severity of settler attacks against Palestinians. The incidents reported on this blog do not reflect all incidents of settler violence in the West Bank, but only those that B’Tselem was able to document and investigate.

Four armed settlers escorted by a soldier arrived at the family’s home driving an ATV. They knocked the father to the ground and ordered the family to leave within five days, threatening them. The family started dismantling their tents and leaving.

at around 11:00 P.M., soldiers arrived at the community in a tractor, demolished al-Mahariq’s home, a livestock enclosure and an outdoor kitchen, destroyed pipes and electrical cables and ran over about 100 tons of animal feed.

Settlers and soldiers arrived at the family home of ‘Amer al-Mahariq in a-Radhem, cut water pipes and electrical cables, threatened him and told him he had 24 hours to leave the community. The family left the community the next day.
