Israel demolishes house under construction, cinder block factory and an agricultural structure in the Palestinian village of Bidu, Ramallah District
On Monday, 21 August 2023, at around 8:00 A.M., Civil Administration personnel arrived with a Border Police escort, two diggers and a bulldozer, at the entrance to the village of Bidu, Ramallah District, and demolished a home under construction designed to house a family of 11.
The forces then went to a cinder block factory and demolished a two-dunam (1 dunam = 1,000 sq. meters) concrete platform, a shack and shipping container used for storage, two cinder block structures used as offices and two water cisterns. During the demolition, the forces destroyed seven block molds, a cement mixer, 2,000 pallets, two water tanks, an electrical meter and other equipment.
The forces then turned westward, to an agricultural plot, where they demolished a shipping container used for storage, two water cisterns and about 200 meters of stone and barbed wire fencing, and uprooted 100 grape vines.
