The Silwan area, located south of the Old City of Jerusalem and annexed to the city’s municipal boundaries, is home to some 20,000 Palestinian residents. Its unique location next to the Old City, near al-Aqsa Mosque for Palestinians and the Temple Mount for Jews, puts it at the forefront of the Israeli regime’s campaign of dispossession...

On Friday, 16 January 2026, at around 9:20 A.M., a group of Israeli settlers led a flock of sheep onto privately-owned Palestinian land on the southern side of the village of al-Mughayir, about 300-350 meters from the village homes. About 10 minutes later, residents arrived from the direction of the village and threw stones at the settlers to drive them away. A few minutes later, soldiers entered the village through the eastern entrance, which leads to Route 458 (Alon Road). The military blocked this entrance shortly before 7 October 2023, and it has since been used only by military forces. The force advanced to the area south of the village and moved both the settlers and the residents from the spot.

At around 1:30 A.M. last night (Sunday, 15 March), Israeli troops operating in Tamun in the northern Jordan Valley opened heavy fire at a vehicle driving inside the village...

On Tuesday, 27 January 2026, at around 6:00 P.M., three military jeeps drove along a road near the old Halal market in the town of a-Dhahiriyah, Hebron District. Soldiers who got out of the vehicles set up an ambush in a yard with olive trees on one of the streets in the area. At about the same time, Muhammad Nasrallah, 17, and his cousin Hassan Nasrallah, 18, left to visit a friend who lives near the market. At around 8:00 P.M., they decided to go to Muhammad’s house. The two went their usual route, taking a shortcut via a dirt path, which ends at a stone wall separating it from the road. According to Hassan Nasrallah, the two did not know there were military forces in the area and did not see the soldiers, who were hiding among the olive trees on the other side of the street. 

Over the past week, settler militias shot and killed four Palestinians and injured at least 15 others with live fire in a series of attacks across the West Bank.In the early hours of Sunday, March 8, settler militias raided the village of Khirbet Abu Falah and shot and killed Fare’ Jawdat Abu Nurah (57). Military forces joined the attack and shot and killed Thaer Faruq Hamayel (30). Additionally, the military fired massive quantities of tear gas into the village. A resident of the village, Muhammad Jawdat Abu Nurah (55), suffered cardiac arrest and was evacuated to a hospital where he was pronounced dead, likely due to gas inhalation. At least five other Palestinian residents required medical treatment, including another resident injured by live fire..

Since October 2023, women in the Gaza Strip have been living under Israel’s genocide against Palestinians there. Daily care for the family typically falls to women: preparing food, maintaining hygienic living spaces, and tending to children’s health and education. These responsibilities have become difficult, if not impossible, to carry out in the harsh living conditions of internally displaced persons (IDPs): living in tents without access to essential supplies such as water, food, cooking equipment and cleaning materials, and with a decimated education system...

On the night between 20 and 21 November 2025, around midnight, two Israeli Border Police vehicles carrying about 12 Special Patrol Unit officers raided the Kafr ‘Aqab neighborhood in East Jerusalem. The vehicles stopped on the Ramallah-Jerusalem road, next to the commercial center by the Sikal junction. Some of the officers were masked and, according to eyewitnesses, their rifles were fitted with silencers...

Last night (Tuesday), 24 February, at around 8:00 P.M about 20 Israeli settlers raided the village of Khirbet Susiya in Masafer Yatta, in the South Hebron Hills, armed with clubs and flammable materials. They attacked homes and cars with stones, and set fire to three tents, a pre-fab, chicken coops and cars at several spots throughout the village...

In December 2025, the umbrella organization Shelter Cluster reported that Storm Byron and several other severe storms over the course of that month had damaged about 65,000 households in the Gaza Strip, in at least 537 IDP compounds. According to figures released by the Palestinian Ministry of Health, from the beginning of December 2025 to the end of January 2026, at least 39 people died in Gaza due to weather-related hazards, more than half of them minors (22).

Saturday, 10 January 2026, at around 8:45 P.M., Shaker Ja’bari, 58, was driving his daughter, Raslan Ja’bari, and her four young children in his car in the Khallet Hadur neighborhood in Hebron, when he suddenly noticed a group of soldiers walking up the street ahead of him. Ja’bari screeched to a halt, and then one of the soldiers fired three shots at the car. One of the bullets went through the windshield and hit Shaker Ja’bari in the forehead. Two of his grandchildren, Juri, 11, and Muhammad, 9, got out of the car and ran away, shouting and crying. A local resident who witnessed the incident helped Raslan Ja’bari get out of the car with her two younger children, Julia, 2, and Rayan, 5, and took them into the home of his relatives who live nearby, without their older siblings.

On Sunday, 7 December 2025, shortly after 8:00 P.M., Israeli forces shot and killed two young Palestinian men, Baraa Qablan, 21, and Muamen Abu Riyash, 19, after they got out of their car near Road 5745 leading from the village of ‘Izbat a-Tabib to ‘Azzun.

On Saturday, 20 December 2025, in the early evening, several military jeeps raided the center of the town of Qabatiyah in Jenin District. Shortly before 7:00 P.M., one of the jeeps drove back and forth through the streets of the a-Saba’neh neighborhood near the town center, repeatedly honking its horn and disturbing residents. A group of youths followed the jeep, shouting and whistling, and some of them threw stones at it from afar...
