A Dream that Will Never Come True

A video diary by Khadijeh Bsharat, 28, a B’Tselem volunteer who lives in Humsah a-Tahta, the Jordan Valley, a small community which is one of dozens facing systematic attempts by Israeli authorities to drive them out. Bsharat earned a B.A. in Arts from a-Najah Univ. in Nablus, is married and has three little girls. Ever since the Civil Administration demolished her home, she and her family live in tough conditions in a donated trailer home. She describes what it’s like to live facing the constant threat of expulsion and demolition by the authorities.Made as part of B’Tselem’s camera project, with the support of UN Women.
