An Israeli soldier shot to death the Wahib a-Dik, 28, Palestinian construction worker and father of four. B'Tselem's investigation indicates that soldiers entered the yard of an ancient palace that Palestinians were restoring. One of the soldiers spoke with one of the workers, and claimed they were looking for stone throwers. Wahib a-Dik exited from the second floor of the palace and the soldier immediately shot and killed him .

The figures do not include fatalities in the Gaza Strip and Israel during Operation Protective Edge (8 July 2014 through 26 August 2014). These figures will be added once the relevant investigations are complete.
