Soldiers shoot to death ‘Itaf Zalat, 43, in her living room, Tulkarm, 2006

In the pre-dawn hours of 1 May 2006, during an operation to arrest a wanted person in the Dhanabeh section of Tulkarm, soldiers from the Duvdevan undercover unit fired at the second floor of a residential building, killing ‘Itaf Zalat, 43, and wounding her three daughters: Ahlam, 21, who suffered moderate injuries, Ansam 17, and Angham, 15, who were lightly wounded.
