Join B'Tselem's human rights tours of the West Bank

This month, November 2009, B'Tselem is marking 20 years since its establishment. We believe the most appropriate way to make this event meaningful is to share our knowledge and experience with the public. Thus, we invite you to join us in a tour of the West Bank – to see the reality we try to convey with your own eyes.

Topics to be addressed from a human rights perspective:

•  Major demographic and geographic issues in the West Bank and East Jerusalem, 1967-2009

•  The legal status of the West Bank, including East Jerusalem

•  The civil status of Palestinians

•  The relations between Palestinians and the Israeli authorities

•  The Israeli security issue

•  Planning and building issues

•  Infringement of Palestinians' human rights

•  Palestinian-Israeli ties

The tours will include personal meetings with Palestinians, among them volunteers in B'Tselem's camera distribution project .

Two tours will be given in English:

East Jerusalem : Wednesday, 25 Nov. 2009, 12 P.M. – 5 P.M.

Hebron and the southern Hebron hills: Wednesday, 2 Dec. 2009, 12 P.M. – 5 P.M.
