B'Tselem publishes Position Paper on Israel's Assassination Policy Since the beginning of the intifada on September 29, 2000, Israel has assassinated at least nine Palestinians. In the course of these assassinations, an additional six Palestinians were killed. The assassinations Israel has conducted in the past few months, like other assassinations in the past, violate both Israeli and international law and constitute extra-judicial executions. The manner is which this policy is conducted compounds its illegality, as detailed in the position paper. |
