Sources of Information:

  1. The statistics on houses demolished by the Jerusalem Municipality were provided to B'Tselem by the municipality on 11 March, 2004 following a request based on the Freedom of Information Act.
  2. The statistics on houses demolished in East Jerusalem by the Interior Ministry were provided to the Jerusalem Center for Social and Economic Rights on 12 December, 2004 by the Department for Strategic Planning of the Interior Ministry.
  3. The statistics on house demolitions in the rest of the West Bank were provided to B'Tselem by the Civil Administration on 31 March 2004 following a request based on the Freedom of Information Act.
  4. The 2004 statistics and the statistics on house demolitions in East Jerusalem by the Interior Ministry between 1999 and 2001 are based on a report published by the Israeli Committee against House Demolitions in September 2004.
