Army set dogs on Palestinian workers
On April 28, B'Tselem wrote to the OC Central Command and to the judge advocate general, demanding that they immediately terminate the use of attack dogs against Palestinian workers who enter into Israel without permits. In the last month alone, at least three Palestinians were bitten as a result of the practice. The policy is fundamentally unacceptable and cannot be justified as an attempt to protect the Separation Barrier.

Army blocks car access to entire neighborhood in southern West Bank
On 9 Feb. '11, with no warning, the army blocked all car access to part of Khirbet a-Deir. Since then, more than 150 residents have had to climb over boulders to get home, lugging their provisions. ACRI has demanded that the military commander of Judea and Samaria order immediate removal of the blocks.

Video: Settler violence in front of soldiers
On Saturday morning, 9 April '11, settlers from Yizhar attacked Palestinians in 'Asira al-Qibliya and 'Urif, apparently in response to a Palestinian attempt to enter the settlement the night before. During the attack, which lasted an hour or so, soldiers stood by and made no arrests.

B'Tselem to Turkel: Independent investigation apparatus must be appointed
On 4 April, B'Tselem testified before the Turkel Commission, calling for appointment of an independent and effective apparatus to investigate suspected breaches of the laws of war by Israeli security forces, that will operate in circumstances not suited to Military Police investigations.
